The Witching Hour is an anthology comic that contains 9 all-new stories that go beyond just trying to scare you. While the stories do deal with witches, spirits, and monsters, the writers also want to show that there are beasts that exist outside of a horror movie. The stories "Daniel" and "Little Witch," for example, focus on men who made a choice long ago, only to be haunted by the ghost of their decisions. "This Witch's Work" shows that people who belong in the transgender or transexual community still have to deal with many demons, inner and outer.

The book features a talented group of various writers and artists, many names you have no doubt heard of before. Kelly Sue Deconnick (Captain Marvel) and Ales Kot (Suicide Squad and Zero) have a story in this comic, and Cliff Chiang (Wonder Woman) contributes art to another.

More than just a seasonal horror comic, The Witching Hour is definitely something to pick up as soon as you can.
